Graduate of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow; Chief Specialist at National Center for Quality Assessment in Healthcare, Agency of MoH. Developed and implemented accreditation program (JCAHO model) for healthcare organizations; Board member of European Society for Quality in Healthcare; participation in EU funded projects (CEEQNET; MARQuIS; SIMPATIE); Polish representative at the WHO World Alliance for Patient Safety; member of the Council of Europe Committee of Experts on Management of Safety and Quality in Health Care: Prevention of Adverse Events in Health Care, a System Approach. Invited expert in international programs and trainings: Slovak Rep; Croatia; Lithuania; Bulgaria; Romania; Egypt. Dutiful mother and housewife (3 children and 2 dogs).

TPJ:not -for-profit NGO founded in 1993 from the initiative of medical professionals. Mission: to improve the quality of healthcare in Poland; 700 individual members. Main activity areas:
As a member of ESQH TPJ actively participates in ESQH activities, also as an organizer and host of the ESQH Spring Workshop in Krakow, the co-event of the Spring Conference of Guidelines International Network (GIN) and Council of Europe Conference on Implementation of Clinical Guidelines (April 2003).
