Until 1999 I worked in a public hospital (Ile de France, Seine saint Denis) :
paediatric clinical activities
in charge of emergency care paediatric organisation, blood transfusion safety - involved in quality and safety program development
Since 2000 I am working at the ministry of health in the department « safety and quality of health care in private and public hospitals» participating to national policies in the field of patient safety and quality in hospitals :
elaborating legislative framework : risk management in public and private hospitals, reporting systems
designing and implementing use of guide lines, recommendations and tools on patient safety
conducting national survey on adverse events
conducting experimentations in hospitals (risk analysis tools and reporting systems in hospitals…)
communicating at local, regional and national levels
promoting experiences sharing between hospitals
Description organisation
“La Direction de l’hospitalisation et de l’organisation des soins” is the direction of the ministry of health in charge of hospitalization and health care organisation.
The departement « safety and quality of health care in private and public hospital », is in charge of design and implementation of health care policies related to these subjects.
