Biography
Born 1956. MS ( political science ) Århus University 1982. Between 1983 – 95 various posts in Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Health. From 1995 employed in Danish Medical Association. Participated in a Salzburg seminar, spring 2001, about patient safety. Engaged in various patient safety activities both in connection with establishing the Danish Patient Safety Society (founded December 2001) as well as later on.
Description organisation
The objective of the DMA is to unite Danish doctors to protect the interests of the medical profession and to influence general social issues in the best interest of health and the health care system. 94 % of all Danish doctors are members of the DMA , as well as one of the three craft organisation subdivisions ( junior doctors, medical specialists or general practitioners) and a local branch of the DMA. The DMA was founded in 1857.
