"Welcome to the UK National Patient Safety Agency’s hand hygiene hub. On this microsite you can find information on the full NHS hand hygiene improvement programme in England and Wales, including the background and progress of our acute stream – the cleanyourhands campaign – and plans and progress for supporting improvement in non-acute settings. All of the cleanyourhands campaign introductory and maintenance resources can be viewed here, and there are facilities for getting in touch; applying to use the materials to support efforts in local NHS organisations; and links to other programmes, sources and organisations involved in the national effort to improve patient safety and increase patient confidence through tackling healthcare associated infections."
