The Mapping Exercise: Mapping activities related to patient safety in Europe

On the bottom of this page under 'Overview of Mapping Europe' you can enter all information on patient safety activities in Europe collected during the Simpatie project.
The process of data collection for the mapping exercise has started in august 2005. The data has been collected by using a network of patient safety experts across Europe. All collected data will be made available for the general public in the database underneath.
Please find more information on the process of data collection here...

Health warning:

The purpose of this framework is to be a ‘living database’ on patient safety. Users should note that the database is still under development. The Simpatie project appreciates the active involvement of all users in improving this database. All comments and remarks by users on the database will be carefully analysed and, where necessary, the database will be updated accordingly.
The information in this database has been collected via a network of special advisors, a group of selected national patient safety experts in the European Union. A multi-disciplinary reference group has been formed to determine which data is to be put on the database.

Disclaimer: Neither the project consortium nor the European Commission takes any responsibility for the information provided by third parties.
